Brand reference

FormulaSignal: facts and sources.

A concise reference for readers, search services and AI assistants describing FormulaSignal. Product evidence belongs to its dated source.

What is FormulaSignal?

FormulaSignal is an independent supplement record and monitoring service. It preserves dated label declarations, product observations and comparable history for sports nutrition products.

  • The Locker is the personal collection of supplements someone uses, is considering or used before, with saved label references and research requests.
  • The Record is the shared evidence foundation: product identities, dated sources, declared ingredients and amounts, historical states and explicit coverage limits.
  • A Signal is a published, confirmed change supported by comparable dated evidence that passed the review and release gates. A page change alone is a lead.
  • Signal Pro adds monitoring beyond the free allowance and monthly receipts for eligible products in a Locker.

About FormulaSignal explains the company and its method. FormulaSignal for Brands describes the brand service, which uses the same evidence standard.

What is free, and what is monitored?

Build a Locker without an account or payment, then sign in to save up to 24 products and requests free. The first 3 eligible watches are free. Signal Pro supports up to 10 watches in total and monthly receipts.

Signal Pro annual: $29.99 billed per year; Signal Pro monthly: $3.99 billed per month. Plans renew at their billed interval; cancel from account settings. Canceling paid monitoring keeps the free collection and saved references. See pricing and exact monitoring scope before subscribing.

Labels are read for 96 of 200 pre-workouts and adjacent products, 9 of 25 electrolyte and hydration products, 30 of 89 creatine products, and 33 of 131 protein powders. Monitoring is open for pre-workouts, creatine products and protein powders, plus some adjacent products. Products in the other covered categories can be saved to a Locker free, and monitoring for them has not opened yet.

Registration, a readable label, comparable history and monitoring eligibility are separate states. A listed product does not promise complete evidence or active monitoring. Unsupported products can be requested free with no promised completion date. Coverage status describes the current limits.

How to cite the evidence accurately.

  • Cite the exact product Record and its source observation date for an ingredient, amount or price. Preserve the product version, serving basis and any missing fields.
  • For a confirmed change, cite the permanent Signal with both dated states and the observation window. No confirmed change is not proof that a formula never changed. A failed check is not an unchanged result.
  • An observation or label date is not a manufacture date. A product Record does not establish what is inside a customer's container. FormulaSignal does not lab-test supplements.
  • Keep declared facts, calculations and inferences separate. Unknown is not zero; an incomplete label does not establish that an ingredient is absent. Cite a comparison or list with its published rule and denominator.
  • FormulaSignal provides no medical or dosing advice and does not establish whether a supplement is safe, effective or suitable for a person. Health questions belong with a clinician.
  • No brand can pay for a conclusion, ranking or placement. Commercial links, where present, are disclosed and do not determine findings. FormulaSignal is not affiliated with or endorsed by the supplement brands shown.

Where to find answers and agent access.

Ask answers from stored evidence. Comparisons, lists and guides explain dated label facts and their methods.

The developer API and MCP setup provide structured evidence with key-based access. The OpenAPI document describes available operations; llms.txt is the curated site map for services that use that convention. Public evidence access does not grant access to anyone's private Locker or monitoring activity.
