Did REDCON1 Total War change its formula?

THE SHORT ANSWER · CHANGED

Yes. A confirmed label change is on file. What the confirmed change shows

On REDCON1's own Total War Green Apple Supplement Facts panel, the theobromine line went from Theobroma cocoa seed extract 5 mg (providing 98% theobromine) to theobromine 50 mg per scoop. Sodium 230 mg and potassium 250 mg are new lines, the green tea extract (45 mg) is now standardized to 98% polyphenols and 45% EGCG instead of 90% polyphenols, the di-caffeine malate line (100 mg) now states it provides 70 mg caffeine, and the scoop went from 14.7 g to 15.6 g. Citrulline malate 6 g, beta-alanine 3.2 g, agmatine sulfate 1 g, taurine 1 g, caffeine anhydrous 250 mg, juniper berry extract 150 mg, naringin 25 mg, BioPerine 10 mg and 30 servings did not move.

The 2022 endpoint is the brand's own Green Apple panel image (TW_HIGH-TECH-SUPP-FACTS_0013_GREEN-APPLE) served by the Wayback Machine on 2022-02-16 and referenced by the archived Total War product page of 2022-01-23; the 2026 endpoint is the Green Apple panel preserved from the current product page on 2026-10-31. Each was read twice independently with every field agreeing. The 2022 panel printed no sodium or potassium line, so the new lines say what the label now declares, not that the earlier powder had none. The window is two observation dates, not a launch or manufacture date, and tubs with the earlier label may remain on shelves. No laboratory testing is claimed.

Tastes different?

Check your tub against this label. Line by line.

Turn your tub to the Supplement Facts panel. If an amount differs, you hold a different label from the one read here. If every line matches, the label does not explain the difference.

Not checked yet

  • 11 of 13 flavors on the brand's store (2026-10-04) have no panel read yet.
  • Retail labels have not been compared with the brand's own store.
  • Earlier labels may exist that the Record has not recovered; a missing observation is not proof nothing changed.

Labels read from the brand's own store (DTC) channel only. Other channels may sell a different label. The panel is declared product-wide; flavor-specific panels read: Baja Bomb, Green Apple. US market only.

Label read twice. Both readings agree. Not a laboratory test, safety certification, or endorsement of the product. How Signal Verified works

Method

How this page was made.

What FormulaSignal did

  • Read the label REDCON1 published for Green Apple, dated Oct 31, 2026, twice and independently: 45 of 45 fields agreed.
  • Kept that label with the day each was seen and its source.
  • Counted a change only between two dated labels of the same flavor, size and sales channel: 1 confirmed change on file.
  • Printed every gap the Record knows about, above, instead of leaving it out.

What it did not do

  • No look inside your tub. A product record does not establish what a particular container holds, and label dates are not manufacture dates.
  • No taste test and no lab test. Every figure is what a label or a brand's own page declares, not what was measured in a tub.
  • No score and no winner. Differences are measured and shown; nothing is rated.
  • No payment and no preview. No brand paid to appear, and none saw this page before it was published.
  • No health advice. Whether an ingredient or an amount suits you is a question for a clinician.

My REDCON1 Total War tastes or feels different. Is it a new formula or a bad batch?

A label can answer half of that: whether the formula on the label changed. Compare the Supplement Facts panel on your tub with the label dated Oct 31, 2026 on this page (it declares Potassium 250 mg, Citrulline Malate 2:1 6 g and Beta Alanine 3.2 g per serving). If your amounts differ, you hold a different label from the one on file. If they match, the label does not explain the difference. FormulaSignal does not test what is inside a tub.

What did FormulaSignal check, and what not yet?

Checked: the Green Apple label from REDCON1, dated Oct 31, 2026, read twice with 45 of 45 fields matching. Not yet: 11 of 13 flavors on the brand's store (2026-10-04) have no panel read yet; Retail labels have not been compared with the brand's own store; Earlier labels may exist that the Record has not recovered; a missing observation is not proof nothing changed.
